This paper considers three related problems in ensuring that Grid Computing can be performed in a mixed ipv4/ipv6 environment. The first is to port one of the most prevalent grid middleware packages – Globus – to work in a dual stack environment. The second is to ensure that Access Grid, the package many use for personal communication, works in that environment. The third is that the requirements for IPv6 are fully taken into account in the formulation of Global Grid Forum standards. Our activities in all three areas are discussed in this paper.

This presentation is part of session "Recent Results I" which starts at Monday, June 7 @ 16:00
