Profile

Vasilios A. Siris received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Heraklion, Greece in 1998, his M.S. degree from Northeastern University, Boston, USA in 1992, and his B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Athens in 1990. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Crete, and a Researcher at the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology -Hellas (FORTH). During the summer of 2001 he was a Research Fellow at BT (British Telecommunications) Research in UK, and a visiting researcher at the Statistical Laboratory of the University of Cambridge. His current research interests include resource and congestion control in wired and wireless networks, and network traffic monitoring.
