Profile

Michael Mackay completed a BSc in Computer Science at Lancaster University in 2000. Thereafter he became a Research Student, again at Lancaster, to undertake a PhD looking into IPv6 transitioning. More specifically, his research encompassed all aspects relating to IPv4 and IPv6 co-existence and the management and service-provisioning aspects of supporting complex transitioning infrastructures on large networks. His other research interests include network management, mobility and QoS. In September 2003 he joined the 6NET project.
